First art project of the year was to figure out what actually influences me, which are the things and people i love. These movies and shows have inspired me over the years and still continue to do so. The flags and community they represent have helped me shape my own identity as well as the poet who's part of them. Andrea Gibson has been a huge influence in my life recently. Slam poetry has been a way for me to communicate and express myself better than I have been able to before.
