This is for the zombie project im doing for my photography class. We take a photo of someone, ourselves, a celebrity, anybody, and turn them into one of the undead using online tutorials.

Thats the one ive been using, & honestly it's a bit hard to follow. They use more than one program to get all the effects on their piece, mainly the color. Also they more or less experimented to get one part to look the way it does.
Anyway, I chose Jared Padalecki, or otherwise known as Sam Winchester from the tv show Supernatural.
This pic's still a work in progress but im mostly finished, just need to add some blood effects and clean it up!!

found a site where you can practice and post your art! go check it out!
This is my geometric self portrait & its the first project Ive done with this kind of editing.
The differences I found between Photoshop and Illustrator
is that Illustrator's more for creating an image while Photoshop is more for editing an image, though I didnt notice many differences with this project.
The difference between vector images & raster images is that
Raster images have to do with the original unedited photo used, Vector have to do with the geometrical shapes used in editing the photo.
The main tool we used was the pen tool which wasnt much different from what we were used to in Photoshop with its main job being the same, to make lines and geometrical shapes.
My favorite part was finding and creating the geometrical shapes. My least favorite part was making sure the shapes were complete & that they'd fill properly.
If I could redo the project the improvements I'd make would be to section off certain parts more accurately & change some of the colors to keep the image constant.
